Privacy Policy

This privacy policy sets out how Corporate and Cocktails uses and protects any information that you give Corporate and Cocktails.  Corporate & Cocktails is run by Selway Search HR, a trading name of Clearcut Recruitment Ltd.

Corporate and Cocktails is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy policy.

When requesting to join Corporate & Cocktails, corporate members will be asked to provide an email address in order to go onto our Mailing List. Corporate and Cocktails is a business to business HR networking group.

Our mailing list will be used to provide relevant HR content to our members, including (but not limited to):

  • Up and coming HR events

  • HR blog posts

  • Member special offers

  • Up to minute HR job opportunities

  • Group information relevant to members.

Our events are funded via sponsors (Businesses), this is how we can run our events for free for our members. Sponsors will either organise for the event to run using an external venue or it may be held on their business premises. Corporate & Cocktails will always be responsible for the registration process and will hold registration details (your data) via Eventbrite (the software we use to organise our events).

Our sponsoring organisation will be provided with delegate name, job title and company only. This is for:

  • Internal security/H&S reasons

  • To be able to produce name badges for the event

All other information you provide, unless expressed otherwise, will be held by Corporate & Cocktails. i.e telephone number-this would be to be able to contact delegates should an event be cancelled last minute or venue changes last minute etc.

To communicate out the registration process for an event, we will use our Mailing List (which you would have signed up to) and we also contact all delegates that have been to prior events.

It is important for members to let us know if their email address has changed, so that we hold up to date information. If we email out communication and get a bounce back, we will delete that email address and attempt to contact that member i.e via LinkedIn to ascertain if he/she wants to continue to be part of the group. This would be a situation, such as, if you move business and therefore get a new business email address.

Delegates and/or members may chose to provide a personal email address or a business email so that we can keep in touch.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

We have a number of approved suppliers who offer special rates and discounted services to Corporate & Cocktails member.  During the event registration process you will be given the option of signing up to these offers. If you sign-up to these offers (via a drop down option), you are giving permission for Corporate & Cocktails to provide these suppliers with your information (Name, Job Title, Company Name, Phone  Number, Email address) and any company demographic i.e company size, how many in your HR team.  This will be expressly communicated to you before you sign-up for a special offer.

This is so that the supplier can make contact with you, as per your request.  It is the delegate’s responsibility to then check these suppliers' privacy policies. Corporate & Cocktails will not be liable for any breaches in data protection from data that you have given us permission to share with a third party.

You can request to be unsubscribed from our mailing list at anytime or by emailing: or using the unsubscribe link on the bottom of an email.

Your personal information is not moved or transferred to any other system/database and is held in 'Eventbrite' (if you have attended an event), within our mailing list (Mail Chimp).
